On July 15, 2008 the El Paso County Health Department made it official that due to budget cuts mandated by the El Paso County Commissioners they will have to drop the the health regulations and health inspections for tattoo studios in El Paso County. Doing so will prevent anyone in the military from getting a tattoo in this county. Since the regulations were dropped NUMEROUS tattoo shops opened up. This is cause for great alarm. Make sure your tattoo studio and artist are conscious of these regulations and abide by them, for your safety and theirs!
